Introduction

Otpera is a WhatsApp messaging platform for online stores and developers. It does two jobs:

OTP verification: send a one-time code to a phone number on WhatsApp and check the code the user types (sign-up, login, checkout, phone verification).
Order confirmation: ask every customer to confirm, postpone or cancel their order on WhatsApp before you ship it, so fewer cash-on-delivery parcels come back.

Messages are sent from the WhatsApp number you link to your workspace, so customers see your business.

Create a workspace at otpera.com and link a WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code.
Create an API key in Dashboard → API keys.
Call the API from your server (never from browser or mobile code).
Get results synchronously (OTP check) or by webhook (order answers).

All requests and responses are JSON (Content-Type: application/json). Successful responses wrap the payload in data; errors use the error format.
